Travel insurance<br><br>
Travel insurance is a must when travelling. Usually your
country’s medical does not cover you in foreign countries. It’s
something that we hope never to use, but if something does
happen, it is invaluable. Travel insurance can be purchased at
any travel agency. Make sure you go over your travel
insurance policy carefully with your agent. There are several
different types of policies you can get.<br><br>

Be clear on the limitations of the insurance. If you plan on
doing some potentially dangerous activities such as riding a
motorcycle, bungee jumping, etc, make sure you are still
covered. Some hospitals in some countries will not admit you
if you are not covered by insurance. And if you are admitted,
the costs of the hospital bills may be a lot more that you can
handle.<br><br>

Some things that I look for:
<ul>
<li>Ensure that I am covered completely for my planned
length of stay.
<li>Comprehensive coverage for any hospital stay or
emergency transportation back home.
<li>Ensure I am covered for the countries that I am
travelling through.
<li>Any limitations on the coverage that I am going to
receive.
If you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel.
